Bulkeley Street in Kowloon was named after Francis Bulkeley Johnson who joined Jardines around 1861 and was Hong Kong Taipan1882-83

The death of Mr Francis Bulkeley which occurred on the 15th inst., at Cannes is announced from home. The deceased gentleman was a member of the firm of Messrs. Jardine Matheson & Co. and was widely known throughout the East.  A vote of condolence was passed by the Legislative Council of Hongkong [sic] on the 17th instant.
